My entire time growing up, there was not a single professional photograph of the six of us together.
But, after my father passed away in 1984, I created a portrait of my family together.
I now cherish that photograph - it means the world to me. And I will pass it on to my children.

And They Have To Be Boring."

Many people think of a PROFESSIONAL family portrait as getting "dressed up"
and then all of you gathered in front of a brown background in a studio, posed unnaturally, and saying "cheese" as the photographer snaps the picture. Now, is that something any family will cherish for a lifetime? I think not. It may be the whole family together, but it will never portray your family's relationships - your family's LOVE.

Picture instead: All of you in your own living room ~ Or outside on the deck ~ Or in your yard ~ or at the lake ~ or favorite park. All of you are dressed in casual clothes the photographer helped you choose - clothing that preserves your individual personalities while you all look great together.

Well, that's what makes the difference, and that's what I will do for you.
